Brian Jackson was visiting a friend in Riverside, California, when a box of rechargeable batteries blew up and the whole third floor went up in flames. On the way out he saw a woman 8 months pregnant at a window, about to jump. He told her no. He said he would go out first and help her down. He was lowering himself when the second explosion hit. It threw him off the building. Both legs broken. The doctors told his family he may never walk again and might lose both legs. His blood pressure was so high they could not even operate at first. The woman and her baby made it out safe with the firefighters. Brian is a grandfather. His stepdaughters have not left his bedside. When he woke up, before he asked about himself, he asked if the mother and the baby were okay.

His daughters started a GoFundMe to get him walking again. Over 500 people have already put in. #HustlersNTheHood
