The reason for Canada looks broken is government tax you like a socialist system while provide capitalist services. As a result residents never get mony on hands to invest. Another reason is competition. In Canada everything is controlled by 3-5 companies. Doesn't matter if it's banking, real estate, telecommunications, groceries or any other field. So those few competitors force government to hold you at the bottom line to suffer.

It’s not that complicated. First of all it’s because of the human greed. 2nd the system is designed exactly like that and it’s working. Nobody cares about the lower class or any class people. It’s basically the law of jungle; however, everyone is hiding under the human attire. Think about it.. Canada being a rich country really depends on taxing its citizen to survive. The math doesn’t add up.
