Omg I was there touring as an 8th grader and it wasn’t what I had expected to crowded they weren’t organized and absolutely no diversity whatsoever and their options are very limited. I wasn’t feeling it and they weren’t very welcoming like other schools I’ve toured.

I don’t understand, graduated from Tech. We prided ourselves on having diversity, winning sports teams, lobby that they used to film scenes of Gotham

It was the best school - you worked damn hard but core friendships were made and over 20yrs later each class has a WhatsApp group, people connect and network...Would go back and choose Tech again and again! #Technite4Eva

I couldn’t say enough wonderful things about the school. My son got a top notch education there leading to acceptance into an Ivy League university. Yes, the school is huge (largest in the country) but it is extremely well run with motivated students.

грустный поэт :
Our school is big. Of course it will be crowded when there’s both new students and their parents coming in to tour our school as well as our own students volunteering in the open house. However, the students still get to their needed classes in the 4 minutes passing time that we get on a normal school day. If you think Brooklyn Tech isnt diverse enough or doesnt offer anything you or your kid are interested in, then thats just a false claim. Or you didnt tour the school well enough. Since we have 6000 students, I can assure you that we are way too diverse. We have over 300 clubs, so finding what youre interested in is way too easy. And our school has so many opportunities and so many activities, that no other normal school would have in a million years. The only thing you shouldve been worried about while touring, isnt how crowded it was. But how much work load our classes put on us and if your kid would ever survive in this school. But if you disapprove of our school so much, then feel free to send your son/daughter to any other school in New York.
