nah, this is absolutely EA's fault. they forced anthem to be dropped when ut wasnt ready and then on the eve of anthem 2.0 they cut the project. Andromeda was ok. not amazing but you couldn't really expect different fron the first not Sheppard storyline mass effect because all we wanted was more Sheppard. but ill give you dragon age, that one was dogshit. but to cut us when the new mass effect was looking si promising. we have swtor still. thank god the kotor remake isnt being done by bio because had they taken that from me i would have burned ea hq to the ground

EA is the reason Bioware has had a rocky history lately, they made them swap from a single player to a live service back to a single player game with Veilguard. Anthem wasn't bad, EA pushed for one thing while Bioware worked on something else and didn't let them try to turn it around with Anthem 2.0

They fucked up with the vailgaurd. Making it so all of the past choices didn’t affect the new game made me 100% uninterested. The whole selling point of the series was your decision from the first game echoed into all the those that followed….no one has ever done that besides them. Shot themselves in the foot. I am one of few who actually liked Mass effect andromeda because I went in knowing what to expect, I just wish that they put in all the new species they were supposed to, even if it was just DLC later but a reboot / bringing back Shepard would have sucked.

Honestly, they had it coming. After Dragon Age: Inquisition, BioWare just went downhill. First, we got the half-assed mess that was Mass Effect: Andromeda, then whatever the fuck Anthem was supposed to be, and finally the absolute pile of dogshit writing in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Three consecutive disappointments from a studio that used to be known for some of the best storytelling in gaming. At some point, you can’t keep blaming the fans for not buying your games. It’s sad to see such a legendary studio go, but let’s be real, the BioWare we knew and loved died years ago
