I think created a shit storm when I was in the Marine Corps back in the late 80s… We are in the field for a few weeks roughly around February March so it’s pretty cool… My wife decides to send a care package and it was like Christmas in March for all the Marines cause she sent everything she made cookie she made everything and this huge box was delivered to the field and with it we had like six or seven of these jiffy pops… Of course everybody was happy to see it because I knew I had to split it with everybody so next thing you know, I’m handing out candy like a homeless shelter would be handing out food… Right in the middle of our operation it’s like 1 o’clock in the morning and one of my guys decides that he’s hungry so starts up a squat stove… Put this jiffy pop on top and then the whole thing popping away in the middle of the night and then the aluminum cracks open and now the whole area tensions of butter… Here comes Gunny!… I’ll leave it for your imagination to fill in the rest of the story
