You ever hear someone say,
You ever hear someone say, "You better watch out, or a demon might jump on you"? Or maybe you've been told that even as a Christian, you could still be possessed if you're not careful. That's a lie. The enemy has no power over you that Jesus didn't already break at the cross. I've seen a lot of demons in my day. They are nothing compared to the power of Jesus. The enemy's favorite move is to slap a label on you that Jesus already ripped off at the cross. Don't let him. Here's what the Word actually says. If you're in Christ, you're a new creature. The old you, the one who could be owned or possessed by darkness, is dead and gone. Colossians 1:13. God delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. You're positionally delivered. That's not a feeling. That's your permanent status. If you're in Christ, you're sealed, stamped, covered, delivered, protected. There's no demon in Christ. You're not a rental property that the devil can lease. You're a sealed temple. God won't share a space with Satan. Some people will say, "Well, you can have the Holy Spirit and still have a demon in your soul." Show me the scripture. It's not there. Jesus didn't set you free just to let you get snatched back. "If the Son shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." So what about those feelings? The enemy will try to make you feel dirty, anxious, or unworthy and say, "See? You're not free." But feelings are a signal, not a sentence. Don't say, "I have a demon." Say, "I'm feeling attacked, but God never quits on me." How can light and darkness dwell in the same room? You're not haunted.
