My friend who doesn’t work eventually went into psychosis because she had nothing to do, no work, no school, no hobbies during the work week when everyone else is working … I’m not working right now because I got laid off and decided to just do school full time (my Husband does well and I also never needed to work, I just like to have my own career) I think it’s important to contribute to society in some way. & have a purpose aside from just being a housewife. I get depressed & lazy when I don’t have a purpose. I like getting up, getting ready and working at something.. so if you’re not gonna work or go to school, I think it’s important to put your energy into a hobby or something… not just going down rabbit holes alone. Even if this is a simulation (which I do think is very likely) there is nothing we can do about it. & you can’t convince people to all quit their jobs like this is what it is.. so accept it and put your brain to use at least in some sort of hobby
