To all the new moms wondering how they will hold their baby - sit down and have them snuggle you in your lap. Do NOT lift them. Because if you hemorrhage, then you won’t be able to snuggle either of your babies.

I picked mine up infront of my midwife. She said nothing. But my baby needed it bc her dad was deployed and mom was in the hospital for a few days
