I cashed out my 401K after we had our first baby. I wanted to stay home and my husband wasn’t given any maternity at his old job. He quit that job stayed home with me and helped with baby for four weeks and then found an EVEN BETTER JOB. I am now given the opportunity to stay home full time without any stress of money whatsoever. His 401k now is DOUBLE in a year from what I had taken out in the 4 years of saving.
