Their reflections mix with the real trees above, turning the pond into a quiet painting of autumn that shifts with every small breeze. Weeping willows hang low along the edges, their long branches brushing the light. Behind them the maples burn in full fall color, gold and scarlet and warm orange, their shapes doubled in the still water below.
