Oh and don’t forget that there’s a solid chance the next time you sit down at the wheel you will struggle with the simplest thing and it will feel like that bowl was a fluke! But it isn’t! Pottery is just hard but so worth it!

Ive been working at this for over 15 years now and i still mess up constantly. sometimes i make them worse to give as gag gifts and sometimes i find inspiration but i rarely come out with what i expected from the beginning. im sure that your first few will be more valuable to you once youve honed your skill. also, i dropped a 27hr project a few days ago and im not even going into that part of the house right now. its ok to be pissed, too.
