Standing in front of the cameras and throwing Michael Carrick and the coaching staff under the bus like that is unacceptable for any player, let alone the captain of Manchester United. When you wear that armband, you stand up, take responsibility, and protect the group. You don't come out in public questioning the tactics and pointing fingers at the setup just to take the heat off yourself after getting beaten 4–1 by Como. That’s not leadership—that’s a player looking out for his own reputation. And look, it’s obvious to anyone watching that Michael Carrick is losing the dressing room right now. When you see a team look that lifeless, conceding in the first two minutes, and then the captain goes straight onto television to openly slate the game plan, the authority from the manager is completely gone. The players have clearly stopped buying into what he’s telling them. But Bruno needs to look in the mirror before pointing fingers at Carrick. He’s looking like a shadow of the player he used to be when he first arrived at Old Trafford. His performances over recent months haven't been anywhere near the level required, and frankly, he doesn't have the right to be talking about tactics when he's giving you nothing on the pitch. If you’re going to call out Carrick's instructions, you’d better be delivering a 10 out of 10 performance yourself. But he was passive, he couldn't influence the game, and then he goes off the pitch to publicly undermine his manager.
