@charmaineyyloh1606: A little escape from city life to paradise! 🌊🏝️🤿 Spent 3D2N at Ombak Dive Resort, Pulau Perhentian, and this trip was all about ocean adventures, beautiful beaches and slow island living. 💙 From scuba diving and exploring the underwater world to chilling at Long Beach, catching golden hour and enjoying the fire show and movie night — every moment felt like a mini reset. ☀️🐠 Sometimes, all you need is sunshine, salty hair and a little vitamin sea. 🌴✨ 📍 Ombak Dive Resort, Pulau Perhentian #OmbakDiveResort #PulauPerhentian #PerhentianIsland #ScubaDiving #DivingAdventure @ombakdiveresort

To love someone deeply and stay close to them is almost certain to mean causing them real pain at some point, because they will have opened themselves up to you completely. Underneath the adult exterior, the person you love carries an emotional core that is close to a child in how easily it can be hurt. A word said cuttingly, a small kindness forgotten, a promise not kept, all of these can injure someone far more than they would seem to warrant from the outside. Love is not a safe activity. It is closer to a dangerous sport, and getting close to someone always means accepting real risk. Recognising this is worth feeling a little brave about rather than ashamed of. If we come away from love bruised, that is not proof we misunderstood what we were doing. It is proof we were doing it properly.   How to apply this to your life:   Before a difficult conversation with someone you love, remember that their apparent composure sits over something far more fragile, and choose your words with that in mind.   If you get hurt in love, resist the conclusion that you did something wrong by getting close. Getting hurt sometimes is part of the risk you knowingly took on.   Extend the same understanding to yourself when you accidentally cause pain. It usually means you were close enough to matter, not that you failed at loving well.   Follow us for more useful ideas, every day.
