Suboxone is the only reason I didn't die from an OD. it's the only reason I went from a junkie with no hope to a functioning member of society. It quite literally saves lives and I wanna say shame on AA/NA for making people feel like taking. Suboxone meant you aren't clean. I will never forget those self righteous morons in NA that made addicts feel guilty for taking. a life saving drug. Who knows how many addicts died because of that ignorant rhetoric

Suboxone can cause precipitated withdrawal but only from taking it too soon after other opioids. Not from crushing and injecting

Sublocade is like a “vaccine” against opioid overdose 👍. Unfortunately it has not been widely adopted yet. 🤨

SR-17018 has so much potential for Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) yet the DEA just scheduled 1'd it because too many people were buying it on the gray market for self medicating OUD with it. it's such a shame. One of the most promising compounds ever created for OUD now scheduled. When I was in grad school, most labs didn't have a DEA license. It's a super big pain in Florida. So many labs won't be able to study the compound.

I've only had 3 cases in my 12 years of pharmacy where a patient has completed Suboxone therapy. I'm not saying it's not a good tool, but I haven't seen proper titration utilized or followed up on.
