Been in the area for almost 30yrs. It sucks, but establishments come and go. It gets harder for businesses to stay open the more competition there is, and there’s a LOT in Nashville.

Taxes and quality issues. Many of these places never went back to good normal service after Covid and skimped on quality for profit ultimately ruing reputation and in the long run loosing business from locals.

As for the general Jackson they constantly had maintenance issues. Maybe another company can bring a similar experience with an updated vessel. How about a Dixie stampede dolly boat. Obviously it can’t be horses and stuff but maybe a new concept.

Look, when my wife and I can’t get a decent meal (not extravagant, just a good meal) and decent service for less than $80-$100 we’re just not eating at the place. We’ve nearly stopped eating out at all. It’s too high, the food quality just about everywhere is bad and service isn’t good any more either. After all that, you’re expected to tip. God forbid you eat in Nashville and have to fight/pay for a parking spot then fight traffic to get home. I’d rather eat a sandwich on my couch at home in some comfortable sweats. 😕
