I had my man there for my first two deliveries and learned that he was best left at HOME 😅😂 this past May my best friend of 25+ years came and helped me labor, drove me to the hospital, helped me through birth, cut the cord and helped me name my 3rd baby boy and I don’t regret it one bit! no fake auntie, she a real one and was there to support me like a real girls girl would 💞💞 sorry you didn’t haven’t a good experience! I do believe that women belong in spaces like that to support other women

on a positive note sometimes it works out, my “aunt” aka my moms bsf was in the delivery room when my mom had me she even helped name me, my mom passed when I was 5 and she has been helping raise me since, she includes me in every family event her family has to the point I call her siblings my aunts and uncles and their kids my cousins, she planned my baby shower just like she planned my moms and we hang out all the time!!

My sister was in the room with my first. My second child she didn’t meet until he was probably 1 and my daughter is the same age as squish and idk if she even knows about her niece tbh 🫠

I was in the delivery room when my daughter gave birth to her first baby. I was also in the delivery room when my best friend gave birth to her second child as her husband died unexpectedly 4 months prior.

i was that friend in the delivery room. i drove her, i spent the night went she went into labour(for a multitude of reasons some of my own) and i cut her off. we were aligned as people anymore, and i didn’t want her as a friend anymore. she held my baby the day he was born tho, it wasn’t a one sided relationship that deep at the time. and i still do care for her and her baby but i didn’t want to be associated with her anymore.
