Other girls that say they dont want their man doing stuff like this for other women, or they don’t want their man being nice to other women, All I can think about is how that reinforces the patriarchy. I want my man to treat other women with decency, respect, and dignity, and kindness. I understand different boundaries in different relationships, but at its core, that’s what the messaging is. I don’t want the kind of man who is unkind and disrespectful to other people because I’m insecure in our relationship.
