One defendant is Atlanta rapper Mercedes New, accused of taking over $4 million. Two Chicago area grocers face charges over about $30 million in fake EBT transactions. ICE has also started arresting illegal immigrants accused of collecting SNAP.

I had a family member get their card skimmed the state offered NO way to lock required a police report and all they got was that sucks... all bodegas out of NYC start making the stores that had the skimming devices in them (guarantee they won't allow them to be installed in the 1st place this same chain had skimmers found in them from Ohio to the Carolinas) and those who accepted the stolen funds pay the victims back with interest in cash... this ish has to stop and accountability needs to be pushed
