When Paul commands us to be “courageous” and “strong,” he recognizes that following Christ will bring moments when fear is real and retreat is tempting. There'll be times when your convictions are tested, when obedience comes at a cost, and when standing firm means resisting private lusts that would be easy to surrender to. That's when courage matters most. When temptation comes, stand firm. When your convictions are challenged, stand firm. When life becomes painful and obedience feels costly, stand firm. You have a Savior who endured the cross, conquered the grave, and now intercedes for you at the right hand of the Father. 📖 "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."
