Wombats are known for spending much of the day snoozing in their burrows, but as you can see, Sabine has a playful side too! She’s particularly enthusiastic when it’s time for food! Did you know there are three species of Wombat in Australia? Southern Hairy-nosed Wombats like Sabine can be spotted by their shiny fur and hairy snouts, while Common Wombats have a bare nose and thicker, denser fur. Have you visited Sabine?
