The Five walk down the aisle and stop in front of the Coven, and the first sister says the Coven's trick worked once but will not work now. The second sister explains that the Coven knew The Five were weak when incomplete, so they killed them one by one, thinking Mama Ebele alone could never wake them. But once Adaeze woke the flame, she and Mama Ebele used it to wake them together, which the witches never expected. The scene cuts to eight days earlier in the underground house, where Mama Ebele tells Adaeze she needs help waking her sisters. Adaeze's father almost died trying to help her before, but now that Oluchi and Adaeze are fresh and strong together, they can do it, and it is the only way to protect them from the Gemini Coven. Adaeze asks when, and Mama Ebele says now, and tells her to take her hand with Oluchi. Adaeze wants to tell Udeh first so he won't panic, but Mama Ebele says they will be quick and he is probably too tired to wake. The three hold hands and vanish. In an underground grave lit by torches stand four black coffins. Mama Ebele slides open the first one, revealing the dry, grey body of an old woman, and tells Adaeze to come so they can begin.
