As the daughter of a veteran police officer who has nearly died TWICE in his career doing swift water rescue in remote areas, because idiots who brave floodwaters think they’re smarter than everyone: I commend the rescuers here and condemn the idiot they’ve risks their lives to rescue. Don’t be the reason an emergency services or SES family looses a loved one trying to save you.
