@agtg.jayy: God called David "a man after My own heart." We hear that and think David must have been perfect. But he wasn't. David was an adulterer. He was a murderer. He was a bad father at times. So why would God say that about him? Because being after God's heart isn't about being flawless, it's about where your heart runs when you fail. Saul failed and made excuses. David failed and broke. After his worst moment with Bathsheba, David wrote Psalm 51:10 - "Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me." He didn't say "clean up my old heart." He said "create a new one." He knew only God could change him. David's heart was sensitive to God. When God convicted him, he listened. When God said no, he surrendered. When God showed mercy, he worshiped with everything he had. God isn't looking for perfect people. He's looking for responsive people. What direction is your heart facing today? You don't have to be perfect to come to God. You just have to be honest, like David was. #Jesussaves #Godisgood #fyp
