Here’s the thing: these “auditors” know damn well how it comes across. And in every video I watched of these people filming, they’re incredibly rude to the people complaining. Instead of just explaining themselves the auditors are resistant and insulting. They know that pointing a camera toward a business or a group of people is weird. I think they like seeing a reaction and make the others look foolish when they complain or attack because they’re well within their rights to film in public locations. And they say things like “they want to educate people on this right” but they could actually educate by explaining. They’re provoking on purpose and antagonizing. People who have phones on their cameras aren’t pointing it at a group of people or linger on businesses. Most people ask for permission or make it obvious what they’re filming. I have no sympathy for these so called “auditors”. If they want to express this right, I have no problem with it. But EXPLAIN. Stop being rude about it.
