your vehicles registration has reciprocity in all 50 states. the guidelines that limit your vehicle are tied to the state that your vehicle is registered in because it is your home state where the vehicle is most frequently used. if his tint is legal in his state, he is legal to drive it in California as a visitor.

Get a letter from your doctor and then you send it to the DMV and if you get pulled for window tint the exemption for window tint will be on your license. I got 5% myself. You’re welcome!

You go by the laws in your state you don’t have to change your vehicle just to drive through another state that cop doesn’t know what he’s talking about and it is fully legal to go under the speed limit unless it is otherwise posted for a minimum speed
