reasoning behind the order: Apple Music > Spotify > YouTube Music Apple Music gets first place for its music-focused approach and Apple integration. Spotify follows for discovery and playlists. YouTube Music’s covers, remixes and live versions are useful, but not my main priority. Threads > X I’m prioritising everyday conversations and community over a real-time news feed. That puts Threads higher here, even though X is useful for live updates. Apple Notes > Notion The job is capturing a thought quickly. Notion’s workspaces and databases are useful for bigger projects, but that extra structure isn’t what I want from a quick note. FocusPal > Opal / OneSec My preference is FocusPal’s playful design with one-tap and scheduled focus sessions. Opal is a capable blocker; OneSec’s pause-before-opening approach tackles automatic app-opening rather than simply blocking out a focus session. VN > CapCut > InShot VN’s multi-track timeline and no-watermark editing fit my priorities. CapCut follows for its effects and caption tools. InShot is useful for quick edits, but that workflow gets a lower spot in this comparison. Hevy > Strong Strong is already a good workout logger. Hevy gets the edge for its social side: following friends and copying their routines alongside tracking your own progress. Fyle > Apple Files I’m judging a document workflow, not general file browsing. Fyle’s scanning, OCR and document categorisation fit that job. Apple Files remains a useful all-purpose file manager. Dun, FocusPal and Fyle are my own apps, so those choices reflect my own product preferences—not an independent test. Different priorities would change the order. #iphoneapps #iPhone #apple #Technik #iphonetips
