D is a main protagonist in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2, introduced as a hardened, highly skilled netrunner originally hailing from a Snake Nation nomad clan. Visually striking, he is a tall, slender man with spiky black hair, intense green eyes, and distinct physical battle scars—including a prominent burn scar tearing across the right side of his face and body, and a black cybernetic ear implant replacing his missing right ear. Unlike Season 1's David Martinez, who was naively pulled into the underworld by tragic happenstance, D enters the narrative as an already-seasoned, calculating operator. Driven entirely by an unyielding thirst for revenge after his entire nomad family was ruthlessly massacred, he uses Night City merely as a hunting ground to trace the perpetrators. His razor-sharp technical skills allow him to weaponize the Net to disrupt enemy cyberware, bypass corporate security, and dive dangerously deep into Arasaka's most classified R&D secrets. Possessing a rare, unusually high tolerance for heavy cybernetic modifications—which ultimately enables him to manifest a colossal, magnetized shell of scrap metal weaponry in battle—D's lethal single-mindedness fundamentally shapes the high-stakes corporate warfare of the second season.#cyberpunkedgerunners #laugh #realizations #friendship #vulnerable - @wndrs80
