@rental.empire: Airbnb is changing what hosts can require guests to do before checkout, and every host needs to pay attention! ❌ What hosts generally can NO LONGER require: - Stripping beds before checkout. - Washing and putting away dishes. - Taking trash off the property. - Completing time-consuming cleaning chores. - Paying penalties for skipping specific checkout cleaning tasks. ✅ What hosts CAN still expect: - Guests placing dirty dishes in the sink. - Trash being placed in designated bins. - Guests respecting the property and house rules. - Doors being locked at checkout when required. - Guests leaving the property without excessive mess or damage. ⚠️ IMPORTANT FOR HOSTS: Starting November 20, these rules apply to new reservations booked on or after that date. Hosts must disclose reasonable rules and requests in the designated section of their Airbnb listing. Adding new requirements through messages or signs after booking is not allowed. Violations could lead to warnings, reduced listing visibility, or additional enforcement action. 💰 WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOUR AIRBNB BUSINESS? Hosts may need to rethink cleaning expenses, turnover procedures, and pricing to protect their profits. 💬 HOSTS, WHAT DO YOU THINK? Should guests be responsible for washing their own dishes and taking out the trash, especially when they're already paying a cleaning fee? 👇 Drop your opinion in the comments!
