@razborgruz.engine: Beloved ‘Chicago Fire’ Star Leaves The Show In An Emotional Farewell After fifteen seasons, fans of "Chicago Fire" are preparing for a difficult goodbye. The hit television drama is reaching a massive milestone with its upcoming 300th episode. But instead of just celebrating the achievement, the hour will serve as a final send-off for one of its original cast members. Actor Joe Miñoso is officially leaving the series. His character, Joe Cruz, has been an important part of the Firehouse 51 family since the show first aired in 2012. Over the years, viewers have watched Cruz invent life-saving tools, fall in love, start a family, and lose dear friends. Recently, the character was left using a wheelchair following a serious inj*ry during the season premiere. Now, the series is wrapping up his storyline for good. According to the official logline for the 300th episode, the firehouse responds to a complex hostage situation while Cruz continues to make strides in his recovery. Showrunner Victor Teran explained that saying goodbye to such a beloved character was always going to be emotional. He said the writers decided to lean into the change, letting those feelings drive a complex story about family and friendship. Teran described the milestone episode as a love letter to their dear friend and brother. While "Chicago Fire" has seen major cast members leave in the past, losing a day-one character marks the end of an era for longtime viewers. Will you be tuning in to watch Joe Cruz’s final episode? #chicagofire #joecruz #television #entertainmentnews #tvshows

the show cannot survive many more changes. Dick Wolf productions has had a long history of long running series since the early days of Law and Order, but also as long as these series have survived. it seems like endless turnover of characters. I know it requires big commitment, and for the most part the new characters have lived up to the role. but how much more can this show lose. if Herman goes i think that will be the end. I hope not. guess we will see. have heard rumors lot of past characters will return for Joe's send off. I think that would be fitting.
