Hi, esthetician here. You might have had an allergic reaction to something! Also where you go matters! Don’t rule out everyone! Some of us are phenomenal (like me🤭)

Barrier prep before skin treatments is so important, especially if you’re used to drug store products versus professional grade actives your skin will freak out! Your esthetician should have gone over your at home skincare routine with you.

Probably a bit over exfoliated. Use some hydrating serum and really hydrating moisturizer and you’ll be back to normal within a week.

Hi love! Dermal clinician/student Nurse here and it appears that unfortunately your barrier has been compromised due to the stacking treatment on unprepared skin. It’s a huge issue in our industry at the moment and I’m so sorry you’ve experienced this. My advice is to get a serum/gel/cream that has ceramides, fatty acids, ectoin, centella and multi molecular weight HA to help restore the barrier. And finding somewhere to do medical grade LED will help. If needed you can go down the route of barrier restoration treatment with someone who is qualified. Please don’t hesitate to reach out or come see us at @in. pelle [Heartwarming]
