Thanks Basil :
I’d take Ginbey over Sheezel even without the Hewett factor

Mike :
Win-win for all clubs involved. 4 good players > 2 great players who get no support from the rest of the team.

West Coast could just trade Harley to Carlton for Motlop, that would be nice 🙂

Ginbey over Sheezel every day of the week. Hewett is the steak knives that could really pay off

Even if they got jagga for two years then let him go back to Melbourne they would have been better off. What are the dumbest trades in football history?

The eagles has really fumbled the ball in recruitment for some time now. It’s probably more disappointing that their infield performance

geez there's been so much bloody narrative about these pick swaps ever since Owies was delisted. lets not forget the eagles are a WA based team. they took Ginbey & Hewett who are both local products. Sheezel could've easily requested a trade home after 3 yrs. plus Ginbey is a gun and future captain. as far as the Smith trade goes, im ok with it. im still quietly confident that Bo Allen will be a solid 200 game player

Didn’t we also get Shanahans in the trade? If he continues at this rate the other picks we got are irrelevant

Both shezel and jagga smith might go home to vic after 2 years in Wa. Might be beneficial for the eagles to build a core of players from WA

Bo Allen and (Baker-needed for leadership) was a preference rather than another teen struggling with no leadership around. Id take Ginbey alone over Sheezel and Hewitt is a bonus with so much upside. Mid understanding
