@rawsoundpovs: Of all the songs to choose for a blind audition, he picked Sia’s “Chandelier” 😳 In 2015, 21-year-old Jordan Smith from Harlan, Kentucky walked onto The Voice stage and took on one of the hardest pop songs ever written. His range was so unreal that Slate later nicknamed him “the unicorn.” All four coaches turned their chairs, and he chose Adam Levine. He didn’t stop there. Jordan won Season 9, his cover of “Somebody to Love” knocked Adele’s “Hello” off No. 1 on iTunes, and he became the highest-selling artist ever to compete on the show at the time.
