@seafromthesky: 🎬 FROM RAW TO CINEMATIC | THE POWER OF COLOR GRADING 🌊 Same shot. Same camera. Two completely different feelings. Here’s a split-screen comparison showing the original footage straight out of the camera versus the final color-graded version, captured on the Osmo Action. The ungraded footage is where everything begins. The colors, contrast, highlights, and shadows are all part of the original image. With the right color grading, we can shape the mood, bring out the details, enhance the natural colors, and give the footage a more cinematic look while staying true to what the camera captured. But color grading isn’t just about making an image look more colorful. It’s about how you want people to feel when they watch it. Sometimes, it means bringing out the deep blues of the ocean. Other times, it means preserving the natural tones, controlling the highlights, and finding the right balance between light and shadow. I love experimenting with different perspectives and pushing my camera gear to see what it can do. You don’t always need a massive cinema camera to create something beautiful. Sometimes, it’s about understanding the light, choosing the right angle, capturing the moment, and making the most of the footage you have. This is my entry for the competition, showcasing what’s possible with the Osmo Action and a little creativity in post-production.
