@asaintaday: 🕊️ Hope When All Seems Lost. – St Jude – October 28th An apostle of Jesus and patron saint of desperate situations, St Jude has become a beloved companion for people facing uncertainty, grief, and seemingly impossible causes. ——— More about St Jude: Also called Thaddeus, Jude was one of the Twelve Apostles. John’s Gospel records his question at the Last Supper about why Jesus would reveal himself to his disciples rather than to the whole world. After the Resurrection, his mission took him east. He is remembered for preaching in regions including Syria and Persia, where his story became closely linked with that of St Simon, with whom he shares his feast. Devotion to Jude grew among people seeking help when every other possibility seemed exhausted. He is often shown carrying an image of Christ, while a flame above his head recalls the Holy Spirit’s descent at Pentecost. His enduring appeal speaks to a deeply human need: the assurance that we are never beyond the reach of prayer. ——— 🙏 Remember someone carrying a hidden burden today. May St Jude help us persevere and offer encouragement when it is needed most. ——— Music: Inspiring Dreams by Keys of Moon | https://soundcloud.com/keysofmoon Music promoted by https://www.chosic.com/free-music/all/ Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ https://www.chosic.com/free-music/religious/ ——— #KeepGoing #YouAreNotAlone #dailyinspiration #christianhistory 🎨 This channel features original human writing, research, and design, utilizing AI and Photoshop to assist our real human graphics and visual effects artists.
