Joe :

The shield average of the batsmen from 2000-2010 was between 50 & 60. Look it up it’s insane how good you had to be to get a crack at test cricket.

Paul Barton :

Those are all proper batsman. It allows Head to go back down the order, and drop the idea of selecting bowling allrounders we never bowl

shunshine838689 :

matt_tails29 :

Should be averaging in the 40’s in Sheffield shield surely.

cam :

McSweeney is the best fc batter in Australia

Damo :

we need to go through a down period. stop selecting guys who are over 28. let's blood the younger guys. We need to cop it on the chin.....we are not going to be good if we keep selecting 30+y.o

zippydoda23 :

By all means let’s don’t change 🙄

alextherang :

Why in the world are we looking at career averages. Look at averages in the past 2 years. Mcsweeney has been so good recently, an odi century for australia A. Comes back to SA and scores a century in the marsh cup and then a 50 in the shield.

Slade3733 :

maybe the replacements are way young

Paul Barton :

Uzzie for selector…

user74739961858618 :

Love uzzie

Joel :

Maddinson needs to go, bring him back in

🇵🇸Elias✝️🇻🇦 :

Bancroft lost the credibility after SP gate. He probably won’t be selected again

GarGaMeL :

they are all shit and old. why isn't shield full of guys under 26. why we holding 32 yr old in shield who average under 40. may aswell play youth
