@arabtimeskuwait: Kuwait Targets Delivery Riders for Weaving Through Traffic, Sidewalk Driving The General Traffic Department has launched a traffic campaign targeting delivery motorcycles, resulting in the apprehension of several violators, the issuance of traffic citations and the impounding of motorcycles and vehicles found violating traffic laws. The campaign was conducted as part of ongoing security and traffic efforts to improve road discipline and curb dangerous driving practices that threaten the safety of road users. Traffic patrols monitored delivery motorcycle drivers and checked their compliance with traffic regulations, road safety requirements and rules governing their work. The violations recorded during the campaign included failure to remain in the right lane, illegal overtaking, weaving between vehicles, driving on or off sidewalks, inadequate lighting on delivery boxes and failure to wear reflective vests. Several violators were detained and referred to traffic detention, while various traffic citations were issued and a number of motorcycles and vehicles were impounded.
