Why can’t the government create an official app where homeowners and landlords can upload their houses and apartments for rent? This would allow people to find and rent properties directly from the owners without having to go through agents who charge excessive fees. Such a platform would make the rental process easier, more transparent, and more affordable for ordinary citizens. The government could verify property owners, regulate listings, and help protect tenants from fraud and unnecessary charges. Housing is already expensive enough. People shouldn’t have to spend so much money paying agents just to find a place to live. It’s time for a smarter, more transparent system that connects landlords directly with tenants and makes housing more accessible to everyone. The government should consider making this a reality.

If landlords agree to pay the 5% why not.. getting 5% from both sides makes it 10% n it’s sensible.. but this landlords will tell u theyll not pay so u can add yours to the rent.. there’s always a way out.. this will rather affect tenants, the hest they can do is to reduce the rent.. if rooms are affordable tenants doesn’t care that much
