@uninsouthafrica: No rain, no mealies. Southern Africa's summer rains are forecast to come in weak this season as the strongest El Niño on record takes hold. This week the UN's humanitarian office OCHA and the World Meteorological Organization called for immediate support for communities already feeling the impact. Pacific Ocean temperatures are forecast to run up to 3.8°C above normal, a level never seen before. In Joburg, SADC governments and humanitarian partners are turning that warning into a regional plan. They are pre-positioning food, setting drought triggers for early action and putting women, children and people with disabilities at the centre of the response. Global science, emergency funding and regional leadership are working together to get ahead of disaster. Acting before the crisis costs less and saves more lives. Follow your national weather service and act on early warnings.
We bind those negative words and the spirit of Elnino in the name of Jesus what is bound on earth will also be bound on earth. South Africa 🇿🇦 shall not experience drought our land will flourish, produce enough food for it's people. Our economy will grow from strength to strength. We bind the spirit of unemployed and release unlimited job opportunities for our people. I bless our soil and our waters in the name of Jesus 🙏

South Africa, do not take any loans from these people💀 we're sick if paying for your corruption because we'll never see this money and the worst part is that the farmers will never see that money, we will figure something out and taking that money is not part of it

Climate activists should have been all hands on deck years ago instead of protesting and complaining every chance they had. Now is too late to want to throw more money at a new cause. Plans and ideas should have come a long time ago. Now is too late
