In California, you are not legally required to show ID or answer questions during a detention solely for accidentally entering private property if you are willing to leave and have not refused a request to depart, now I don’t know about other states but no if he accidentally enters private property and is willing to leave he is not trespassing but he also cannot leave if he is detained legally which technically if he’s on private property he is, that being said any judge with a brain would rule in the side of the recorder who’s willing to leave and has not refused, he just can’t because he will be arrested, no he does not have to identify himself in California but there might be stop and identify locations I’m not aware of
