🤨📢It’s wild how many officers think they have the authority to issue random orders without an ounce of Reasonable Articulable Suspicion (RAS). A consensual encounter requires consent; it doesn’t give you the legal right to demand IDs, dictate posture, or order people off public sidewalks. If you don't have RAS, your "orders" are legally nothing more than polite requests—and citizens are completely free to ignore them.😒
