CMO in AI here. It’s so much worse than this. It’s a poison pill in the software/tech sector as a whole. They did campaigns to show Claude is so powerful that it can replace all of your current tools and people. VCs, PE, boards and execs believe the fairy tale. Now companies are understaffed, their own products are being “vibe coded” so they can’t sell, and the AI is producing slop all over the place, killing people’s initiative to innovate or engage.

Curious - what are you expecting to see? Look I don’t even use Claude but aren’t they just getting started and considered one of the leaders in an industry that is expected to grow significantly and change the future? Ofcourse they aren’t profitable right now.

Pretty sure when the bubble burst the companies over-invested on the “do anything” AI models like OpenAI and Anthropic, will be the ones that suffer and potentially close. It’s the AI models trained for highly specific tasks that will survive and flourish.

there is no AI ROI for enterprise corporations. Agentic AI tokens are WAAAAAY to expensive. And the circular AI economy flywheel isn't sustainable. There is no organic funding entering the flywheel. Plus chip technology only lasts 18- 24 months before new tech is introduced.

Been using Claude and it can essentially replace entire teams if you have enough tokens. they are funding us to use it now so that we become totally reliant to it, before increasing the prices to enterprise level fees for businesses.
