Well, they'd be right. Our fashion today is pretty trashy. Not to mention the quality of the fabrics and the construction of modern clothing. The turn of the 20th century was the last great peak of fashion, and everything's gone steadily downhill since the Great War, but the worst by far was the invention and rise in synthetic fibers. The inventors of polyester and spandex ought to burn in hell.
