@carowl_uk: Save this for the day you need it 📌 1️⃣ Stop and put your hazards on: driving off after any crash can mean 5 to 10 points and an unlimited fine. 2️⃣ Don't admit fault: most insurance policies say you mustn't admit liability at the scene. 3️⃣ Swap the right details: by law you must give your name, address, the owner's details and the reg. 4️⃣ Photograph everything: both cars, both plates, the road and signs, and save your dashcam clip. 5️⃣ Check their reg matches the car: Car Owl's free check shows if the make, model or colour doesn't match, a sign of cloned plates. 6️⃣ Tell your insurer even if you don't claim: skip it and they can refuse to pay out later.
