special funds ni high risk..you can switch to dollar money market fund instead because capital preservation is guaranteed and it offers good returns compared to the declining Kenya shillings mmfs.

But it's not really idle in the MMF....[Big LOL] And interests earned between 8-10% are higher than some of the recommendations such as t-bills. Your recommendations are good for diversification though some bear high risks.

You are talking about treasury bills and bonds, from my end MMF interest rate from some firms is profitable than the T-bills. consider a disciplined MMF investment with compounding of interest for an individual lock period of one year
