@moviesheavenupdates: Keanu Reeves is in talks to star in a Hollywood remake of the 2019 Korean thriller “The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil.” In the original, Don Lee plays a mob boss who survives a serial k*ller's attack. He then teams up with a detective who despises him to hunt down the attacker. Lee is returning as the gangster, while Reeves' role hasn't been revealed. The original premiered at Cannes in 2019. James Wan, director of “Saw,” “The Conjuring” and “Furious 7,” will direct the remake, with Sylvester Stallone among the producers. There's also a “John Wick” connection. Shay Hatten, who wrote parts of Chapters 3 and 4, worked on an earlier version of the script. The project has been in development since 2019, with no release date announced yet.
