Honestly this would be believable for me. I’m in Portland and the crows have literally tried to abduct a package off my doorstep before.

I realised half way through the film that Mac wearily has blond hair and his parents do not. And the fact that Prues face looks so much like the governess made me think quite a bit.. Magical lesbian IVF

The animation was so good. But the story was sloppy as hell and the writing was cringe

I always said they will never make another movie with the care and craftsmanship they did for lord of the rings. Today I was proven wrong. Go see wildwood

It’s crazy that during the movie sometimes I couldn’t even tell it was stop motion it just felt natural. I loved every bit of it

I cried not just because of the emotion, but also the beauty of the movie knowing it was all hand made and just how beautiful it was!

Definitely was impressive visual -wise but story-wise it was quite a lot to take in and a lot more dark and intense than I was expecting. And can we talk about how old and tired Prue looks with the way her eyes are drawn?

Please go see this movie. It takes a stand against AI, it’s a love letter to the arts, and it was crafted by hands who only hope someone would notice. Please be the one who notices. Go and watch Wildwood!

I was speechless and felt kiddish in a way when I was entirely consumed by the plot.

I loved the use of portland’s bridges being used thematically, with “bridge city” being used as the symbolic bridge between our world and the wildwood
