@itspnshima: This wasn’t a trip I planned months ahead. It was almost unprompted. Two weeks before, we simply decided to go to Japan and booked our flights. Perhaps I did not come here only to travel. And maybe I needed somewhere far away. The mountains are beautiful. The mornings are beautiful. And yet, some sadness travels with you, no matter how far you go. And still, my heart is content. Alhamdulillah, for the places that take us far away and for the quiet ways they bring us back to ourselves.
