I think the move toward democratic socialism would be the closest we will be able to get to a third party in national elections. But I do think third party votes could work in small elections with enough canvassing and stuff like that!

I would love to vote independent but harm reduction matters. especially with establishment dems having let the alt right coming to power. their consistent movement "to the center" is one of the ways we got here.

I don't understand how libertarians aren't more favorable. The more our government gets involved in something, the worse it gets, red, blue, doesn't matter. Debt goes up, taxes go up and services get worse. We need less government, I don't trust centralized power and that's always a result of socialism/communism throughout history.

This is true. I grew up in Detroit in 80’s/90’s. It was super blue, always. That same area now is way, way more Republican now. For the exact reason you mentioned. Democratic presidents left them to die and they know it.

The fixture this is ranked choice voting. It’s just math that there can only be two parties in a first past the post system. You can try to put your shoulder into the culture of the Democratic Party. You could become a single issue voter for ranked choice. Or you can disenfranchise the Republican opposition.

We need to vote blue. Minority groups, and trsns and gays can't afford to vote off ballot. We need to restore the balance of power or well become a fascist nation. We need to take control of Congress to stop the anti gay laws and project25 from completely destroying our democratic institutions.

If you do your research project 2025 is just like the Nazi 25 documents and the enabling act laws that were passed before the holocaust happened. We need to vote blue to stop all this and to restore the balance of power. But do your research on the similarities between project 2025 and the laws enacted before the holocaust. Right now there are detainment camps that are using illegal, lighting and other things that causes cancer and long-term health problems. You need to get better educated and informed on what's happening.
