They’re not listening. When I was a new mom I didn’t want to hear any of it. My kid is 3. All I needed was a boob, a full stomach, nappies, wipes and a changing pad. Summer is the best newborn season because they also don’t need clothes 😅. What I lugged around with me made my life hell and 10x harder back then

I bought nappies, wipes, a sling, car seat and some clothes for my second baby because I learnt the first time I didn’t need 99% of the stuff they try and sell you 💕

Good points but I agree with another poster - just like it’s hard to explain what becoming a parent means or how to get your kid to college without going through it! We always change our ways once we take one go round 💜💜I must have had 10x the amount of stuff that I needed when I had my daughter 🤣🤣🤣

Until one experiences what you have … they will buy all the things! I learnt this in a different way re: my health and being in hospital for 3 plus months - All of us humans are guilty of stuff and things!!! Good knowledge post 😌

my baby was having blowouts daily sometimes multiple times a day, so unfortunately we had to travel with tons of clothes for 1 year. still happens, but a bit less often. i guess it very much depends on the baby, too
