@jujumaoo: 🎃 Pumpkin Soup | Soups so good it can cure any sickness Ep. 34 I’m nominated for Food Creator of the Year at the TikTok Awards SEA! 🇵🇭 You can vote daily—and if we win, the top comment decides what diabolical soup I’m making next. 🫠 INGREDIENTS: Pumpkin Soup: - 1 kg squash, peeled and cubed - 3 tbsp olive oil - ¼ cup butter - 15-20 cloves of garlic, chopped - 1 white onion, chopped - Chicken broth as needed - 2-3 cups cooking cream - salt & pepper to taste - 1-2 tbsp of fish sauce INSTRUCTIONS: - Toss the cubed kalabasa with olive oil and spread evenly on a baking tray. Roast until tender and lightly browned. - In a pot, melt the butter and sauté the garlic and onions until softened and fragrant. Add the roasted squash and stir everything together. - Pour in enough chicken broth to cover the squash, then bring to a simmer. Season with patis and black pepper. - Blend the mixture. Return to the pot and stir in the cooking cream over low heat. Adjust seasoning. - Ladle into a bowl and finish with a drizzle of cream, chopped parsley, and croutons.
